About Matthew Sorensen

Matthew Sorensen is the founder of SterileJobs.com and one of the most experienced talent professionals working at the intersection of healthcare recruiting and sterile processing careers.

With over 15 years in executive recruiting and talent acquisition, Matthew has spent a significant portion of his career placing and building teams in healthcare environments, including roles as a Vice President of Talent Acquisition. That hands-on background is what led him to build SterileJobs.com, a job board built specifically for sterile processing professionals, from entry-level SPD technicians to department managers and CRCST-certified specialists.

Matthew is the founder of Candidate Club, an interview preparation platform that partnered with 37 state workforce agencies and departments of corrections to help job seekers land roles faster. He is also the author of four books on hiring and interviewing, and the host of the Hired podcast, which ranks in the top 0.5% of career podcasts worldwide with over 1,000 ratings on Spotify. His work has been featured in SHRM, ABC News, and across dozens of career-focused media outlets.

He founded SterileJobs.com because sterile processing is a field that deserves a dedicated hiring resource. General job boards bury SPD roles among thousands of unrelated postings. This board was built to fix that.
