Mid shift, 5x8 hours (15:00 - 23:30) with rotating weekends and holiday rotation required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Sterile Processing Technician with experience in sterilization, decontamination, and assembly/wrapping. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various cases, including Neuro, GU, robotics, ENT, ortho, Transplant, and GYN procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform sterilization, decontamination, and assembly/wrapping of surgical instruments.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the sterile processing area.
• Use proper sterilization techniques and equipment, including monitoring and documentation.
• Assist with immediate-use steam sterilization procedures as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in sterile processing, including Level 1 Trauma experience.
• National certifications required: CBSPD and/or HSPA.
• Experience in handling various types of surgical cases is preferred.
