Central Sterile Technician (76667)

Processes and issues routine and specialized medical/surgical supplies and instruments used in the care and treatment of patients. Cleans, sterilizes, and packages medical and surgical instrument trays and inventories.  Pick case carts and distribute instrumentation as needed.

Education:  

High School Graduate required.  

Central Sterile (sterile processing) Technician or O.R. Technician or ability to obtain certification within one year.

Experience:   

Nine (9) months of experience relevant to the processing or inventorying of medical surgical supplies.

If graduated from a Central Sterile program from an accredited school, no experience is required.
