Description:

Purpose  

The Technician – Sterile Processing (uncertified) provides safe, quality health care services & / or assistance by ensuring strict adherence to sterilization, high level disinfection, cleaning, installation, assembly, packaging, storage, distribution & disposal processes to ensure that instruments, equipment & supplies are safe / ready for use. 

 

Note: “patients” refers to patients, clients, residents, participants, customers, members

Minimum Qualifications 

High school diploma or GED; Meets requirements for applicable state(s) of engagement 

 

Additional Qualifications (nice to have) 

Nationally recognized specialty certification according to assignment area (e.g., CSPDT); One year experience in Central Sterile Supply
