Summary: The Sterile Processing Technician II is responsible for inspecting, cleaning, assembling, and sterilizing surgical instrument sets to support safe and effective patient care. This role operates cleaning and sterilization equipment to ensure instruments and supplies meet quality and safety standards. The technician prepares supplies and equipment for both steam and low-temperature sterilization and maintains compliance with departmental and regulatory requirements. This position plays a critical role in supporting surgical services through accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to sterile processing protocols.
Work Location: On-site (St. Petersburg, Florida)
Shift: Full-time, Evening Shift: 3:00 p.m. β 11:30 p.m.
Education: High School Diploma or GED required
Required Licensure, Certification, On-going Training: Certification required through one of the following: CBSPD, HSPA, or IAHCSMM
Work Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of instrument processing experience required
Additional Information: $3,000 Sign-On Bonus
